Truck Driver Stabbed In the Chest at Idaho Truck Stop

On Wednesday night, a truck driver from Oklahoma was stabbed in the chest at a Nampa, Idaho truck stop.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:06 p.m. at the Jacksons Truck Stop near Interstate 84.

The 45-year-old truck driver told police that as he stepped from his truck, he saw a man near his truck.

The truck driver confronted the man, and the man said something back to the driver and then attacked him with a knife, stabbing the truck driver in the arm and chest. The truck driver knocked the knife out of the man’s hand; then the attacker fled the scene.

The truck driver was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as 18 years old, approximately 5’9″ tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt and shorts that fell below his knees.
