According to WSAZ, the truck driver, Charles Boyd, 36, parked his truck on the shoulder of the highway and was working on the truck’s engine when his truck was sideswiped by a passing truck.

The accident occurred at approximately 6:30 this morning in the southbound lanes of the highway, near the Goldtown exit.
