A truck driver was struck and killed at a Tulare, California Love’s truck stop.
The accident occurred at approximately 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday at the Love’s Travel Stop #382, located on South Blackstone Street, just off of Highway 99.
The victim has been identified as Nicholas James Metz, 38.
According to the Fresno Bee, Metz was walking in the parking lot when he was struck by a 2008 Freightliner driven by Paul Jepson, 54. Metz died at the scene.
The accident is currently under investigation.
