Truck Driver Struck and Killed At Indiana Truck Stop

According to KLKY-TV, a man was struck and killed at a southern Indiana truck stop on Thursday evening.

The Indiana State Police told KLKY that the man was walking his dog when he was fatally struck by a truck.

The accident occurred at the Pilot truck stop located on Interstate 65, near Exit 16.

Pilot employees told the police that the man was a truck driver.

Two people at the scene attempted to perform CPR on the driver.  When medical officials arrived, they pronounced the driver dead.

Police said the victim is a white male between the ages of 40 and 50.  They are not releasing the victim’s name this time.

There is no information on the truck or the driver who struck and killed the man.
