Truck Driver Struck and Killed in Michigan

Two Truckers Killed In 6 Vehicle Pileup On Pennsylvania's I-80

According to Michigan Live, a truck driver was struck and killed while picking up a load of sugar beets in Sanilac County, Michigan.

The accident occurred on Monday evening at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Authorities say that while waiting to be loaded,  the 52-year-old truck driver exited his truck and walked between two trailers.

As the driver was walking between the trailers, the driver of the truck that was pulling the trailers pulled his truck forward to be loaded.

The unidentified truck driver was run over by the rear trailer and was dragged for several yards.

The truck driver sustained extensive injuries and died at the scene.
