A truck driver sustained life-threatening injuries when ice fell through an overpass and crashed through his windshield.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Friday. As the unidentified truck driver was driving underneath the I-485 overpass at Mount Holly Road in northwest Charlotte, North Carolina, a dodge-ball sized piece of ice fell from the overpass and crashed through the driver’s windshield.
WSCO reported that the driver suffered life-trheatening injuries.
