Steven, one of our CDLLife readers had quite a shock when a turkey came out of a ditch and landed in his lap!
The driver was headed down Highway 4 (a 2 lane highway) in Kansas going 60 miles per hour when the turkey invited itself into the cab.
Steven ended up with a bit of glass embedded in his arms as well as a couple of cuts and scrapes – but he is otherwise fine.
The windshield, both windshield wipers, and some marker lights had to be replaced.
The turkey survived the impact – until some KW mechanics were able to locate him under some brush… now he is presumed to be the guest of honor for one of their dinners…
