A 50-vehicle pileup has shut down the Ohio Turnpike and claimed at least 2 lives.
According to ABC 13, the crash occurred near Fremont between mile marker 102 and 103 between County Road 268 and 278 in Sandusky County.
Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the Turnpike in Sandusky and Erie Counties.
The accident occurred at approximately 1:30 p.m. The accident is being blamed on blizzard-like conditions and poor visibility.
