On Friday, a truck hauling 78 head of cattle overturned on I-15 southbound in Utah.

A Utah Highway Patrol trooper was parked on the shoulder of the road at the time of the crash, and a dash camera on the trooper’s cruiser captured the rollover.

The Utah Highway Patrol trooper immediately called for backup.

KSL reports that the truck was driving faster than the recommended speed of 30 mph. The curve where the truck overturned is a sharp curve. UDOT has installed extra signs and flashing lights to warn drivers of the sharp curve.

The truck driver escaped the accident with only minor injuries. Three cows were killed it the accident and several others were injured.
