That’s one way to hide the evidence….
A man was caught on camera hitting and then taking off with a red light camera.
The incident occurred on Saturday morning near Marysville, California, at the intersection of 3rd and F Street.
The man allegedly hit the pole head-on, causing the camera to fall into the bed of the truck.
“The pole ended up flipping over into the back of the bed of the vehicle … the vehicle sped off and actually stopped at the next light and turned the corner from there and took off,” witness Arnold Romero told CBS 13.
Police later caught up with the red-light hit and run driver. He’s been identified as 19-year-old Manuel Montano Herrera.
