Check out this massive tire explosion – a demonstration of OSHA Certification testing.
The tire is a 29.5R25 L-3 Earthmover (used for large earthmovers and agricultural machinery). It features a 3 piece steel wheel that’s inflated to 150-psi and then ‘suddenly releases’ inside of the cage.
New features of this inflation cage are “PATENT PENDING”. Cage part number 36011.
