California PATH at the University of California Berkley developed a Truck Driver Assistance System to provide “real-time advisory on: safe speed, safe following distance, safe curve speed to avoid roll-over, frontal collision warning, road slip warning, black-spot warning, driving ours monitoring, and driver behavior monitoring based on sensors, GPS, and vehicle J-Bus information.”
