In this short Volvo film, driver Matthew Ude speaks of the challenges and dangers of being a truck driver in Nigeria.

As a Nigerian truck driver, he struggles daily to travel through bad roads, jungles, and traffic while avoiding highway robbers.

Matthew is currently a part of the largest land reclamation project in Africa – Eko Atlantic. He drives six days per week, making one run each day in an FMX-truck collecting stones and taking them to build the eight-kilometre-long wall which separates Eko Atlantic from the sea. When this project is completed. Although the project originally was just to protect the eroding shoreline, it has transformed into the creation of a new business district.
