Wind Topples Trucks in Utah

Hurricane-Force Winds Flip Over Trucks in Colorado

On Saturday, strong winds toppled several trucks on Interstate 80 in Tooele County, Utah.

The tipped trucks blocked the interstate and brought traffic to a halt.

In total, six trucks were blown over in Tooele County alone. There no reported injuries.

According to ABC 4 in Utah, wind speeds reached 76-miles-per-hour.

“It causes those trailers to weave and ultimately, once the trailers start to weave, the wind gets underneath them and just pushes them right over,” Trooper Clint Fawson told ABC 4.

Drivers, what tips do you have for driving in strong winds?
