Thursday, October 2, trucking company Xtra Lease will hold a free trucking expo at their new facility in the Cleveland area. The free expo will provide information on how to handle CSA issues, current trucking trends and offer a simulated DOT inspection.
An Ohio State Highway Patrol officer will conduct a step-by-step roadside inspection to give trucking professionals a first-hand look at a Level One inspection, Xtra Lease said in a press release.
Featured guest speakers will include Jeff Davis, president of Fleet Safety Services, LLC, who will teach trucking professionals how to take practical steps in dealing with CSA problems.
Researcher Jim Braun with Cleveland Research Co., an independent firm focused on highway research, will share insights into current trucking trends.
The expo will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the XTRA Lease Cleveland location at 1211 Highland Rd., Macedonia, Ohio 04456.
A BBQ lunch will be provided as well. All carriers and shippers who do business in Ohio are invited.
