The 36th annual Truckers Jamboree is right around the corner!
Each year, the Iowa 80 truck stop, located on I-80 exit 284 in Walcott, Iowa, hosts the three-day celebration of truck drivers.
“This event is a great place to celebrate and learn about trucking and those big rigs. It’s our way of saying thank you to the millions of truck drivers that deliver the goods we consume, whether it’s groceries, gas, clothes or cars — you can bet it was delivered by a truck,” Iowa 80 states.
This year’s Trucker’s Jamboree is July 9-11.
The three-day event is FREE and is packed with tons to see and do, including:
-An antique Truck Display
-Super Truck Beauty Contest
-Over 175 exhibits
-The famous Iowa Pork Chop Cookout
-Carnival Games for the kids
-Live Country Music
-Trucker Olympics
-Fireworks
And so much more!
Country music star Lindsay Lawler will be performing on Friday, July 10, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
