40,000 Pounds Of Cheese Spills Onto E-470

A truck hauling over 40,000 pounds of cheese broke in half, causing major traffic headaches for Colorado drivers Monday morning. The Colorado State Patrol reported that the truck driver crashed into the center median.

Truck Driver Unhurt

Neither the truck driver or the passenger was injured during the accident, but the Colorado State Patrol said that the cheese had to be removed before the truck could be towed away, adding hours to the removal time.

It took over 6 hours to clean up the mess and reopen E-470.
