Be on the lookout on the roads for a trailer holding Travis Kvapil’s sprint car, which was stolen from the parking lot of a Drury Inn in Morrow, Georgia early this morning.
The car was stored in an enclosed trailer in the parking lot attached to black Ford dually truck. Both the trailer and the truck were stolen. According to police, the theft took place at 5:34 a.m. The police are treating the incident as a stolen vehicle.
Kvalpil was supposed to race the car at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. Kvapil’s team was forced to withdraw from the race.
