The American Truck Dealers (ATD) have named the 2015 Truck of the Year.
This year, the Kenworth T880 Vocational Truck with a PACCAR MX-13 has taken home the top honor.
The award was announced at the ATD Convention and Expo in San Francisco.
Judges chose the Kenworth T880 for its “exceptional handling, power, torque and outstanding visibility from all quarters of the driver’s seat.”
“The Kenworth T880 establishes a new standard of excellence and builds upon Kenworth’s heritage of quality, innovation and technology to produce industry-leading, rugged and reliable vocational trucks,” said Preston Feight, Kenworth general manager. “This 2015 ATD Truck of the Year award reflects the many positive comments we have received from our customers about the T880’s outstanding performance, driver comfort and quiet cab.”
The Kenworth T880 is available in day cab and 52-inch sleeper options.
In addition, all the entries were rated on innovation, design, safety and driver satisfaction.
