The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has started to notify trucking companies that they must submit their drug and alcohol testing program results by May 15, 2015.
Randomly selected truck companies will be notified by email that they are required to participate in the survey. Motor carriers who are selected will be required to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the alcohol and drug testing results they hand in. The FMCSA says that motor carriers who are selected will receive detailed instructions on how to submit their results via email. The email will also give information about qualifying exemptions.
