Car Hauler Carjacked In Florida

On Monday afternoon, a car hauler was carjacked at a Honda dealership in Daytona Beach, Florida.

According to WESH, the truck driver was unloading the cars when a man with a gun approached him.  The armed man then took a 2012 black Honda Civic the driver was delivering to the Honda dealership.

Daytona Beach Police are looking for the black Honda Civic as well as a white Kia Optima they believe the suspect rode in to the dealership.

The truck driver told police the Kia pulled up alongside the trailer and sandwiched the driver between the vehicles. The passenger got our of the Kia and pulled out a gun.

“All I know is I put my hands up just took two steps back. As I’ve always said, I’m not going to lose my life over a car,” the unidentified driver told WESH.

The driver said he did not get a good look at the suspect.
