Co-Drivers Crash While Fighting With Knife And Biting In Cab

Published:

Two feuding co-drivers recently caused a crash when they got into an altercation in the cab of their truck after three days on the road together.

The incident occurred on LaGrange Road just outside of Chicago on September 16. According to police reports, things had not been going well between the 42-year-old victim who was behind the wheel when the accident occurred and his 37-year-old co-driver, Shimone Graves.

The two co-drivers were having a verbal altercation when Graves came out of the sleeper and punched the victim in the mouth. Graves then pulled a knife out and threatened the victim with it.

At this point, the driver took a hand off the wheel and grabbed Graves by the arm, biting him to prevent being stabbed. At this point, the truck slammed into a car and came to a stop.

Police arrived on the scene, but the fight continued even after officers took the knife from Graves.

Graves is facing charges of battery and aggravated assault.

There were no serious injuries reported as a result of the crash.
