Published:

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 8, 2015, a truck crossing the tracks at Rust Street and Maspeth in Queens, New York, when it was slammed by a freight train.

Upon impact, the truck caught on fire.

Fortunately, the 62-year-old driver was able to jump from the blazing truck.  He suffered minor injuries.

An oncoming truck’s dash camera captured the crash. Now some who have scrutinized the video say the crossing guards failed to come down.

The railroad tracks are maintained by New York and Atlantic Railway.

Watch the video and decide for yourself– Did the crossing guards come down before or after the truck and train crossed paths?
