The incident happened before 2 a.m. Sunday morning on the Will Rogers Turnpike in Tulsa.

Trucker Held Man At Gunpoint When He Tried To Flee

Schunk drove about two miles after crashing before an unnamed truck driver forced him to stop. Schunk tried to flee the scene, but the truck driver held him at gunpoint until troopers arrived.

Schunk told the arresting troopers that he did not know he had been involved in a collision. After failing three field sobriety tests, troopers say that Schunk’s blood alcohol level in two tests was .18 and then .19.

Troopers charged Schunk with aggravated DUI and with fleeing the scene of an accident. He was released on a $2000 bond.
