Published:

Police are concerned that a missing Indiana trucker may have been the victim of foul play as they continue to search for him.

Driver’s Company Concerned After He Idled For Hours During Normal Route

Unusual circumstances have surrounded the disappearance of 57-year-old Lisle Eugene Harris. He left Tuesday morning and was travelling on I-75 in Atlanta on his usual route. Around 6 p.m., local police received a call from his company, who were concerned because his truck had been sitting and idling since 9 a.m.

Strange Circumstances Raise Police Suspicions

When police showed up to do a welfare check, they found the truck locked and idling with the keys, but after they broke into the truck, Harris was nowhere to be found. His cell phone was still in the truck.

Harris’s daughter was the last person to hear from him. She spoke to him over the phone Tuesday morning.

His family says that Harris is usually very good at keeping in touch and that his disappearance is out of character. Police say that the circumstances of the disappearance are very worrisome.

Police Ask For the Public’s Help in Locating Truck Driver
