J.B. Hunt recently announced that it plans to add 1000 jobs over the next six years as well as expanding its headquarters in Lowell, Arkansas.
J.B. Hunt CEO John Roberts said of the announcement, “As J.B. Hunt’s mark on the transportation industry gets larger, so will our workforce. Many new, full-time jobs will be created during the next six years to aid in this growth.”
The new 133,000-square-foot headquarters are projected to open in spring of 2017.
With the addition of the new jobs, J.B. Hunt makes itself eligible for cash rebates that equal 3.9 percent of payroll of the new hires for the next six years.
