One person has died and 5 were taken to the hospital after an accident involving 6 motorcycles and a truck on southbound I-85 in Greensboro, North Carolina around 7 a.m.today.
Authorities say that the 6 Virginia-based motorcyclists had parked on the side of the road near mile marker 121 to take a break when a truck swerved off the road and hit them. The truck stopped around a mile past the crash scene.
Police aren’t sure what caused the crash. The truck was out of Florida and there was a passenger.
At last report, all southbound lanes of I-85 are closed for the crash.
