A man has been hospitalized after stealing a Coors Light delivery truck in Columbus, Georgia this morning — and then running over his own leg as he attempted to evade police.
Beer Truck Driver Leaves Truck Parked And Running
Gregory Miller, 55, is accused of stealing the truck from a Circle K after the driver left it parked and running while he went inside the store. When he came out and found the truck missing, he called the police.
Suspect Jumped Out Of Moving Truck
Police quickly located the 18 wheeler and began to pursue it. The eventually caught up to him at a Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits, where Miller tried to jump out of the moving truck. The truck somehow ran over his leg and police were able to arrest him. The truck came to a stop in a wooded area.
Miller was taken to the hospital and treated for a possible broken leg.
There is currently no information available about what charges Miller might face.
