A Greyhound bus carrying 55 people slammed into a truck on I-44 near Rolla, Missouri this Saturday, triggering a 23 car pile up. Wintery conditions contributed to the initial accident and then the secondary accidents that followed, one of which caused a chemical spill.

Both lanes of I-44 were closed for over 30 hours, causing traffic to back up for miles.

11 of the Greyhound passengers were transported to the hospital with mild to moderate injuries.
