Minivan Rear Ends Truck, Gets Dragged 16 Miles

Published:

The occupants of a minivan got an unexpected ride Wednesday morning.

According to Up North Live, a minivan rear ended a truck, and the van became wedged under the truck and was dragged for 16 miles.

The accident occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. on I-75 northbound, near Crawford County, Michigan.

The truck driver did not know the van was wedged under the trailer.

The van’s occupants called 911, as their vehicle was being dragged down the highway, to alert authorities of the situation.

Authorities caught up with the truck and minivan near Grayling.

The van’s occupants were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Authorities say that white-out conditions likely contributed to the crash.
