Volvo Trucks this week announced the premiere of a new reality series. The series will be aired on YouTube.
The series will feature life on the road with musician Mapei.
Cameras will record the artist’s 9-day touring trip throughout Europe.
“With ‘Reality Road’ we want to show the strength of our service offerings,” says Per Nilsson, Director Public Relations Volvo Trucks. “For a truck to stay on the road, the services that are linked to it are just as important as the vehicle itself. At the same time, we want to produce TV entertainment that attracts a wider audience. As far as I know, no other company has used reality TV for marketing purposes,” he says.
Do you remember Volvo’s ‘Epic Split’ video? The driver from that video will be along for the ride, so expect to see more cool stunt driving!
Mapei, the artist, will see the “challenges the trucking world” faces.
The series is eight episodes long.
