One Dead After 5 Truck Crash In Georgia

At least one person is confirmed dead after a multi-vehicle crash involving 5 trucks on I-75 in Houston County, Georgia.

The northbound and southbound lanes of I-75 are closed near mile marker 131 while crews work to clean up the crash.

Southbound lanes are expected to reopen at noon. Northbound lanes will not reopen until at least 2 p.m. GDOT suggests U.S. 41 as an alternate route.

It is unclear whether anyone else was injured in the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
