One lane of westbound I-80 (Pennsylvania) has been reopened in Clinton and Centre counties between the 178 Interchange/LockHaven and the Bellefonte/161 Interchange.
There had been a full closure earlier today (Thursday, February 12th) due to an accident involving multiple vehicles.
PennDOT has lifted its Brown Detour, and drivers may still encounter travel delays and slow progress as conditions normalize and cleanup continues.
The left lane in Clinton County is closed between mile markers 176 and 175, the right lane in Centre County is closed between mile-markers 165 and 163. The eastbound restrictions between mile markers 162 and 163 have been cleared and both lanes are currently open.
12 tractor-trailers, and seven other vehicles were involved in the pile-up.
Motorists are being advised of road conditions via electronic message bard along I-80.
