A recycling truck driver in suburban Arizona saved a kitten from the trash on Friday (March 27th).
While collecting containers on his Peoria route, driver Angelo Almendarez heard meowing coming from the back of his truck.
The noise led Almendarez to a two week old orange male tabby.
The kitten is being bottle fed by another member of the sanitation department and has found a permanent home with an employee of the Streets Division.
This is the second kitten that Almendarez has rescued from his truck.
