Second Arrow Trucking Exec Sentenced To Prison

The former Chief Financial Officer for Arrow Trucking will be joining Doug Pielsticker  behind bars after a court sentenced him to nearly three years in prison.

Another Arrow Exec Sentenced to Prison

Jonathan Leland Moore pled guilty to one count of dual-object conspiracy to defraud the United States and to commit bank fraud.

Moore was sentenced to 35 months in prison for his role in the conspiracy and bank fraud schemes that led to Arrow’s downfall — and the stranding of hundred of truckers days before Christmas. He must also pay $21,026,682 in restitution to the IRS.

Moore Hoped For Light Sentence After Helping to Convict Pielsticker

Moore helped prosecutors convict Pielsticker, and his attorney hoped that this might lead the judge to sentence him to probation rather than prison. However, Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Gallant says that the sentence was fair and sends the message that even corporate executives are not above the law.

I seek the forgiveness and grace of Arrow trucker and former employees,” Moore told the press.

Judge Pushes Back Prison Sentence So Moore Can Spend Holidays With Family

Moore was originally ordered to report to prison on December 9, but the judge pushed the date back to January 6 so that he could spend the holidays with his family.
