The suicidal woman who drove head on into a truck in Waxahachie is facing charges for the April 1 three-vehicle crash.
49-year-old Laura Michele Mayeaux turned herself in yesterday and was charged with DUI, deadly conduct, and criminal mischief.
Mayeaux admitted to police on the scene of the accident that she had been trying to commit suicide. Police found an open alcohol container in her car.
Trucker Jack Rivera, whose dash cam captured the chilling incident on video is still disturbed by the incident. He provided the video to law enforcement, but it is unclear whether the video played a part in bringing criminal charges against Mayeaux.
Mayeaux is free on a $14,000 bond.
