A woman was killed Sunday night after running into the path of a truck on I-10 in Goodyear, Arizona.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said that 29-year-old April Rhodes of Kansas ran into the interstate and was hit by a truck around 6 p.m. Rhodes was then hit by four other vehicles.
Rhodes died as a result of the crashes.
Police say that they do not know why Rhodes ran into traffic, but a spokesman for the DPS said that they believe that her action was intentional.
Lanes of I-10 were closed for around 6 hours while police investigated the incident.
There is no word on the condition of the truck driver or any of the other motorists involved, but no injuries have ben reported yet.
