Police Investigate Death Of 26 Year Old Truck Dispatcher Discovered Outside Warehouse

Published:

New Jersey police are trying to determine what caused the death of a 26-year-old truck dispatcher who was found unconscious in a truck outside of a warehouse on Christmas Eve.

Joseph Burrofato was found in an unconscious state in a truck outside of the Presidential Express Trucking Co. warehouse in Bayonne around 7:30 on Christmas Eve morning. A source claims that Burrofato was only discovered because emergency personnel responded to a water flow alarm at the warehouse.

Paramedics were called. They performed CPR on Burrofato and he was transported to a nearby hospital, but he was later pronounced dead.

Police are trying to determine exactly how Burrofato died. They say that they found drug paraphernalia in the truck. One on scene source told reporters that Burrofato was found with a needle in his arm.

Burrofato had worked for Presidential Express since September. He was described as a hard-working, smart, and caring.
