Montana Truck Stop Emptied For Bomb Threat

A truck stop near Missoula, Montana was evacuated last night after a man called in a bomb threat.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, an angry customer called into the Town Pump in Wye just west of Missoula around 7:30 p.m. threatening to blow up the building.

The truck stop was evacuated and the Missoula Bomb Squad and bomb-detecting dogs were called in. The dogs swept the area and found nothing. The truck stop was reopened around 9 p.m.

The incident remains under investigation.
