Truck Drivers Carrying $4 Million In Gold & Silver Robbed At Gun Point

Published:

Three armed men made off with an estimated $4 million in gold and silver after robbing a truck on Sunday night in North Carolina.

The armored truck, manned by two armed guards, experienced mechanical difficulties while traveling northbound on I-95.

When the vehicle pulled over to deal with the truck’s problems, they were approached by three men who held them at gunpoint, tying the guards’ hands and forcing them to walk into the woods. The thieves then escaped in a white van with several barrels full of gold while the guards were still in the woods.
