Truck Driver Pulled Out Of Ambulance By Supervisor Sues

Published:

A truck driver for an Arcadia-based trucking company says that he was forced to wait a week to get medical treatment after a traffic accident that he claims his boss caused.

Truck driver Dajin Tang has filed a lawsuit against Millennium Trucking Co. for unspecified damages after an accident that happened last June near Rockford, Tennessee. According to the suit, Tang and his supervisor Xu Chen were driving in shifts. Tang was asleep when Chen allegedly hit a guardrail. Their truck overturned and was hit by an oncoming truck.

Tang says he sustained a full body impact and head injury during the accident. When Chen called the company’s owner, he was told to get back to California. When an ambulance arrived, Tang says he tried to get in, but Chen pulled him out and said that he would be taken care of in California.

Tang was finally able to get medical treatment in California a week after the accident. According to his suit, he sustained significant injury to his body and brain.
