Truck Driver Robbed At Gun Point

Police are seeking information after a truck driver was robbed outside of a Dayton, Ohio Love’s Truck Stop this weekend.

The truck driver reports that he had finished eating and was returning to his truck when he was approached by a white male who asked for money. When the truck driver refused, the suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at the driver’s head. The driver gave the suspect all the money he had, $220.

Police Seek Information in Saturday’s Robbery

The suspect was described as a white male, six feet tall, weighing 175-200 lbs. He wore a blue jeans and a black jacket and reportedly appeared to be homeless. The suspect was seen in the company of another white male wearing a black jacket and hat. The men were seen asking other truck drivers for money before the robbery.

Area police did search homeless camps and abandoned homes but were unable to locate the suspects. Police are asking that anyone with information on the robbery call Crime Stoppers at 937-222-7867.
