Truck Driver Saves Family From Fire

A grandmother and granddaughter in Des Moines are alive today thanks to a truck driver.

A house fire started around 5 a.m. this morning. A truck driver noticed the blaze and knocked on the door, alerting a grandmother and her granddaughter about the fire.

The grandmother and granddaughter were both able to get out of the house unharmed, along with their pets.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no injuries reported.
