Truck Driver Stabbed In Violent Altercation With Ex’s New Boyfriend

Police say that a sleeping truck driver became involved in a violent argument with another man that left them both hospitalized.

The incident took place this morning at an apartment complex in San Antonio. Driver Joshua Paz, 37, was sleeping in his truck outside of his ex-wife’s apartment complex after visiting the children he shared with her. Around 1:30 a.m., Paz’s ex-wife’s new boyfriend, Jason Anderson, began banging on the door of his truck.

Paz exited the truck and became involved in a physical fight with Anderson, who had a knife. Paz was stabbed twice before he was able to knock Anderson to the ground.

Both men had to be hospitalized after the fight. Anderson will be charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
