Truck Drivers Suffer After Company Allegedly Lays Them Off And Denies Them Final Paycheck

Several truck drivers working out of Greensboro, North Carolina say that they are owed thousands of dollars after their company laid them off and did not give them their final paychecks.

Company Reportedly Promised Checks That Never Came

Mail Transport Service is facing several complaints from drivers who say the company shut its doors and laid them off without giving them their final checks. One of the MTS drivers told reporters, “We were told we would get our paychecks on the first as normal… The problem is, came the first, we didn’t have our paychecks at all.

Feds Investigate Truck Driver’s Claims

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division says that they are actively investigating a series of complaints about lost wages from former MTS employees.
