Drivers are experiencing delays of 30 to 45 minutes after an 18 wheeler caught fire on Route 495 in Union City around 9 a.m. today.

The truck fire forced traffic onto local streets. All lanes reopened around 9:15 a.m., but the John F. Kennedy Boulevard ramp remains closed.

Authorities have not released information on the cause of the truck fire or whether anyone was hurt.
