A Georgia based trucker was arrested on the New Jersey Turnpike and charged with illegal handgun possession last night.
Trooper Claims He Spotted Driver With Gun
The arrest happened after a trooper heading south noticed a truck pulled over the on the northbound side of the Turnpike. The trooper said that he saw a firearm on the truck driver’s waist.
The truck drove away, but the trooper entered the northbound lanes and pulled over 29-year-old Blake Harr and discovered that he was in possession of a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun. Additionally, the trooper found hollow point bullets.
Trucker Facing Charges For Semi-Automatic Weapon Possession
Harr was released with a court date pending. He is facing charges of illegal possession of a weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon and devices.
