A truck driver is being hailed a hero after pulling a man from fiery wreckage. Last week, on Highway 77 in Texas, a truck and a service truck crashed. After the crash, the truck and service truck erupted into flames. Truck driver Rene Garcia, Jr., came upon the fiery wreckage, stopped his truck and ran over to provide assistance. The man in the service vehicle was crying for help so Garza rushed to him. Garza and a few others on the scene pulled the service truck driver from his blazing vehicle.
The service truck driver, a 29-year-old father of 3, was badly burned and had suffered severe burns. He was taken to an area hospital. He’s expected to survive.
Sadly, the truck driver involved in the crash lost his life.
