Wabash LogoWabash National Corporation announced this week that it will unveil its first line of dry and refrigerated truck bodies for Class 6,7, and 8 chassis.

The new truck body models are intended to help reduce costs, maximize the life of equipment, and improve productivity. According to Wabash’s Brent Yeagy, “We’re very conscious of a shift happening in the trucking industry fueled by re-urbanization and e-commerce trends. Our mission is to help our customers be successful, and with our truck body line we can support them as they work to meet final-mile delivery needs.”

New bonding technology in the refrigerated units provides 25% better thermal efficiency while reducing weight by up to 15 %.

The dry truck body will feature Wabash’s DuraPlate composite panels among other design features intended to boost performance and longevity.

The truck bodies are currently in limited production, but Wabash says that they will increase production over the next 18 months.
