During the interview, customer and mother, Diresa Lay expresses her concerns about the trucks that have been parking at her local Walmart. – Concerns that many drivers deem to be both offensive and sensationalized.
CDLLife reached out to Walmart to hear their take on the issue.
According to a Walmart spokesperson who also spoke with (and advised) the manager of the Lonoke Walmart on this particular interview, there is “No record of any accidents or unsafe behavior related to truck parking at the Lonoke Walmart – whatsoever.” We were told that Walmart sees and treats truck drivers just like any other customer.
Though overnight parking (for sleeping or restarts) may not be permitted at this particular location, drivers are welcome to stop, park, and shop at anytime.
